Dietician Nutrition Services

Rachel Bauman and Carly Francis are the Dave’s Dietitians who are available to help you navigate the aisles to make healthier food choice while grocery shopping. We aim to clarify the confusion of the many contradictory nutrition messages in the media, and translate nutrition science to every day healthy habits.

What Can a Dietitian at Dave’s Do for You?
As the Dave’s Dietitians, Rachel and Carly strive to help you make healthier food choices through hands-on nutrition education. Currently, we offer educational opportunities for customers through sampling tables, classes, and providing healthy tips/recipes throughout the store. Keep an eye out for “Dietitian Approved” items, which are foods that have been hand picked by the Dave’s Dietitians to make identifying the healthier options easier. We also provide free, individualized store tours to educate customers on healthier food choices for different health conditions, such as diabetes, celiac disease, or heart disease. In the future, we look to continue sharing more nutrition information through blogging and social media posts. Be sure to check out the nutrition resource table, located in the produce department, where you can find nutrition information, new recipes, and other helpful resources.
